Alpha Phi Chapter Centennial Celebration & Launch of the Oasis Education Foundation
One Chapter. One Hundred Years. One Historic Evening.
On Friday, January 29, 2027, join the Brothers of Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for an unforgettable evening celebrating 100 years of Brotherhood, Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Excellence.
As the signature event of the Alpha Phi Chapter Centennial Celebration Weekend, The Oasis Gala commemorates the centennial of Alpha Phi Chapter— one of the Fraternity’s oldest undergraduate chapters, founded at Clark University in 1927, now Clark Atlanta University.
This landmark evening also serves as the official launch and premier fundraising event for the Oasis Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities, leadership development, mentorship, and scholarships. Through strategic partnerships and philanthropic initiatives, the Foundation will invest in the success of Clark Atlanta University students, ensuring Alpha Phi Chapter’s legacy of scholarship and service continues for generations to come.
Every ticket purchased and every contribution made supports this important mission.

The Centennial White Jacket Tradition
To commemorate this once-in-a-century celebration, Alpha Phi Chapter proudly introduces the Centennial White Jacket Tradition.
For this historic evening, Brothers are invited to wear a white, ivory, or cream dinner jacket with traditional black-tie attire as a symbol of unity, excellence, and the beginning of Alpha Phi Chapter’s second century.
Recommended attire for Brothers:
- White, ivory, or cream dinner jacket
- Black formal pants
- White formal shirt
- Black bow tie
- Black patent leather or polished formal shoes
- Classic black formal accessories
While participation is optional, we hope Brothers will embrace this inaugural tradition. A ballroom filled with Brothers in white dinner jackets will create a timeless image honoring one hundred years of Brotherhood while symbolizing our shared commitment to the future.
Guests are encouraged to wear formal black-tie attire, and ladies are invited to wear elegant evening gowns befitting this historic occasion.
“One Hundred Years. One Brotherhood. One Tradition.”
